Man Faces Attempted Murder Charges In NJ Bar Shooting

FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) — Attempted murder charges have been filed against a man who allegedly shot two people outside a New Jersey bar.

Monmouth County prosecutors say 21-year-old Tyrice Berry of Neptune City also faces a weapons charge stemming from the October 2012 shooting in Asbury Park. He could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Berry's bail was set at $600,000 cash, and it wasn't known Sunday if he has retained a lawyer.

Authorities said they continue to search for a second shooter in the case, but did not provide further details on the suspect.

The two male victims, ages 28 and 30, were sitting in a parked car when they were shot multiple times. They have since recovered from their wounds.
