Man Driving Stolen Car Killed In South Jersey Crash

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a man driving a stolen car was killed when it crashed on a southern New Jersey roadway.

Logan Township police say the crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday on Paulsboro Road.

They say the car left the roadway when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle then hit a fence and a utility pole before overturning several times.

The 39-year-old man driving the car was ejected during the crash. His name has not been released.

Authorities say the car had been reported stolen out of Swedesboro on Saturday night.

The investigations into the theft and the crash are both ongoing.
