Man Dead, 2 Other People Critically Injured After Car Hits Tree, Overturns In Northeast Philadelphia: Investigators

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man is dead and two people are in critical condition after a car overturns near a restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia. The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on the 700 block of Franklin Mills Circle.

Investigators say the car hit a tree and flipped upside down.

It is unclear who the driver was but police say 26-year-old John Cybulski of 3100 block of Derry Road was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead an hour later.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were both rushed to nearby hospitals and are currently listed in critical condition.

According to officials, the car struck the Kpot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot restaurant, but there is no confirmation of any damage done.
