Man Crushed By Forklift In Concrete Plant Accident

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) --  A man has died in an industrial accident in New Jersey.

Winslow Township Police say it happened at around 1:30 p.m. at the Boccella Precast concrete plant.

They say the victim, identified as 61-year-old Rodrigo Ocampo, walked in front of a forklift that was carrying a large hopper full of concrete.

The person operating the forklift wasn't able to see Ocampo.

When police arrived, they found the victim crushed underneath the forks.

Ocampo, of Egg Harbor Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say no criminal charges have been filed at this time.

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) is now investigating the incident.
