Man Critically Wounded In Shooting At South Jersey Apartment Complex

LINDENWOLD, N.J. (AP) — Prosecutors say a man was critically injured in a shooting at a southern New Jersey apartment complex.

The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot at the Woodland Village complex in Lindenwold. Authorities say a man was seen running from the scene, and he was being sought as a "possible person of interest" in the shooting.

Camden County prosecutors say the victim, a 34-year-old Lindenwold man, was hospitalized in critical condition. But further details on his condition were not disclosed.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

It wasn't immediately known if the victim lived at the complex.
