Man Charged With Murder In Camden House Shooting

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Murder charges have been filed against a Camden man accused of fatally shooting another man inside a city home.

Camden County prosecutors announced the arrest of 24-year-old Isaac Bruce on Tuesday, one day after 21-year-old Marvin McClinton of Clementon was found shot in the face at a home in the 1800 block of 6th Street.

Prosecutors say Bruce had a shotgun when he arrived at the home early Monday. But residents there were not surprised because Bruce often carried a weapon with him.

Prosecutors haven't said what sparked the shooting, which occurred around 4:30 a.m. on the home's second-floor.

Bruce also allegedly pointed the shotgun at another person on the first floor and fired twice. Both shots missed the intended target but did go through the person's hooded sweatshirt.
