Man 'Butt-Dials' Cops, Gets Busted On Drug Charges

TENNESSEE (CBS) -- An accidental "butt-dial" on your cell phone usually leads to a funny conversation later with the person you called.

But for one man in Tennessee, it led to his arrest!

Grant O'Connor, 25, managed to dial 911 with his cell phone in his pocket.

Seems fairly harmless, right?

Well, the problem was that, according to police, O'Connor was talking about getting high and going to a drug dealer's house.

Police were able to trace the call and pulled him over as he was leaving a restaurant.

"We have 911 calls all the time that leads to arrests, but not an accidental one … really bad luck and actually some really good police work on the stop as well," Chief Michael Hay said.

Officers found a bag of marijuana in his car. O'Connor is facing several drug charges.
