PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a body Tuesday by the side of a road in Bensalem.

Bensalem Township police have arrested Erik Finnegan, who has no permanent address, and charged him with abuse of a corpse.

According to investigators, 25-year-old Stephanie Machen had overdosed while doing drugs in a house in the 700 block of West Russell Street in Philadelphia's Franklinville section.

Authorities say Finnegan told them he drove the Norristown woman's body to Bucks County, and dumped it by the side of Mill Road.

It was discovered mid morning Tuesday.

Finnegan is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of ten percent of $10,000 bail.
