Man Arraigned In Fatal Shooting Of Camden Woman

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — A man charged in the shooting death of a Camden woman has been arraigned on murder charges.

Camden County prosecutors say 20-year-old Camden resident Gustavo Jimenez and 21-year-old Karen Ramirez were arguing Monday about the proceeds from the sale of a motorcycle when the dispute became physical.

Jimenez then allegedly shot Ramirez multiple times. He turned himself in to authorities on Wednesday, and his bail was set at $1 million bail.

The brief arraignment hearing was held Friday.

A telephone number for Jimenez could not be located Saturday.
