Man Accused Of Attacking, Holding Woman Against Will In Upper Merion

UPPER MERION, Pa. (CBS) – An Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County man is accused of attacking and holding a woman against her will inside his home.

Police responded to the 300 block of South Warner Road early Saturday morning after receiving reports of gunshots in the overnight hours.

The woman was able to escape and identify the suspect as Shane Gallagher.

He was arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and other related crimes.
