Malcolm Jenkins Named NFC Defensive Player Of Week
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- For the time in his career and first time as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, safety Malcolm Jenkins was selected as the NFC's defensive player of the week.

Jenkins had a 99-yard interception return touchdown on Sunday, propelling the Eagles to their 35-28 win over the New England Patriots.

Furthermore, Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox was named as the recipient of the 2015 Ed Block Courage award. All 32 teams vote each season on their respective winner of the award, the player who most exemplifies sportsmanship and courage.
Cox --- who has 24 QB pressures, three forced fumbles and five and a half sacks --- dedicated this season to his late brother Shaddrick.
"Losing my brother had to be one of the hardest things that I've faced as a young man," said Cox.
