City Council Honors Eagles Safety Malcolm Jenkins For Work Off The Field

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A special honor Tuesday night for Malcolm Jenkins.

The Eagles safety was recognized for his work off the field.

City Councilman Curtis Jones and Derek Green presented Jenkins with a resolution for his dedication to making social change.

Jenkins is one of several players who protested the national anthem to bring attention to criminal justice and social reform issues.

He was recently nominated for the NFL Man of the Year award.
