Make-A-Wish Fundraiser Sets World Record With Nearly 600 Truck Convoy

LANCASTER (CBS) -- Nearly 600 trucks took part in the 27th Annual Mother's Day Convoy in Lancaster, setting a Guinness World Record for "The World's Longest Truck Convoy."
Sunday's event shattered the previous record—417 trucks set by a trucking company in the Netherlands.
The event started back in 1990 with just 43 trucks but has grown significantly since then.
This year the event helped raise $350,000 for the Philadelphia, Northern Delaware and Susquehanna chapters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
