Major Water Main Break In Doylestown
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Water main breaks are normally a major nuisance. But when the forecasted temperature is right around the freezing mark, a break becomes that much worse.
That is exactly what some residents are dealing with in Doylestown Borough Wednesday.
According to the Doylestown Fire Department, there is a major water main break at North Street between Davis and East Streets.
Town officials said the road will be closed for most of the day while Borough Public Works Crews work to excavate and repair it.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Officials said some homeowners may experience low water pressure during repair operations.
