Warrington Township Police Investigating Reports Of Mail Theft

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Warrington Township are investigating after reports of mail theft. Warrington Police said they are looking into thefts of checks and merchandise from a residence.
There was also a theft from a blue collection box in a neighborhood. Police said that in two cases, personal checks were altered, written out to someone else, and cashed.
Police urged residents to drop mail off at or inside a post office.
