Made In America Day 2 Goes Off Without A Hitch

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Another successful Made In America music festival is in the books, with no major incidents or injuries to report.

Concert-goers couldn't have asked for a more beautiful weekend. A clear sky and low humidity maximized the enjoyment of the five-dozen music acts on five stages.

Those who spoke with KYW Newsradio give organizers high praise for a job well done:

"It's on time. Everybody is doing their performance on time. It's organized and well put together. I'm proud of it."

"I'm really enjoying it. The Beyonce fans, including myself, were a little crazy, but it was a lot of fun."

"Excellent. I came both years, last year and this year, and I'll come again. It's very well put together."

People say there was plenty to eat and drink, decent restroom accommodations, solid cell phone service, and enough security to feel safe but not overbearing.

The weekend also provided plenty of memorable moments, but it appears one person stole the show:

"Beyonce. It was amazing. She just killed it -- choreography, outfits, all of that."

"Beyonce. I'm a huge fan. She has so much great energy and she's such a great performer."

For a city planning for a Papal visit in a few weeks, this was a pretty successful dress rehearsal.
