Lottery Ticket Worth More Than $1.4 Million Sold In Berks County

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., (CBS) -- One jackpot-winning Match 6 Lotto ticket worth more than $1.4 million from the Dec. 15 drawing was sold at Top Star Express in Reading, Berks County, according to Pennsylvania Lottery officials.

The ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers, 05-16-37-39-44-48, to win a jackpot of $1,417,087.50, less 25 percent federal withholding.

Top Star Express, located at 2588 Bernville Road, will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified. Match 6 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County, or at any of Lottery's seven area offices.
