Lottery Ticket Worth $1 Million Sold In Allentown

MIDDLETOWN (CBS) – Did you just hit the jackpot?

Pa. Lottery officials say a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Allentown for the Wednesday, Dec. 17th drawing.

The ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven at 1801 S 4th Street and correctly matched all five balls, 22-31-38-47-48, but not the red Powerball 15 for a $1 million prize.

The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

Officials say the winner should sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery's seven offices or at its headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

This is apparently the second million-dollar winning ticket sold in the state in December. The first was sold in Philly for the Saturday, Dec. 6th drawing.
