Lottery Ticket Sold In Cape May County Hits $9.1M Pick 6 Jackpot

CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J., (CBS) – What a way to start the new year!

If you purchased a Pick-6 lottery ticket at an Acme in Cape May County, check your ticket, you may have hit the jackpot!

The jackpot-winning New Jersey Lottery Pick-6 ticket from the Monday, Dec. 29 drawing was sold at an Acme store at 11 Court House South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House.

The winning numbers were: 08, 14, 21, 26, 31 and 45.

The annuity value of the jackpot was $9,100,000. If the winning ticket was purchased as cash, it is worth $6,780,865.

The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

New Jersey Lottery officials say 12 players won $2,587 in cash prizes in the drawing for correctly picking five numbers. Another 604 players won cash prizes of $56 each for correctly matching four numbers and 11,284 players won $3.00 each for correctly matching three numbers.

The Pick-6 jackpot rolled 36 times before being hit.

The Pick-6 jackpot resets to $2 million for the next drawing which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 1.
