Vine Street Expressway Traffic Flowing Again After Lost Debris

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A lost load of debris slowed traffic on a heavily-traveled road in Center City Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. in the left lane of the eastbound Vine Street Expressway approaching the interchange for I-95.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene where it showed a load of what appeared to be cardboard taking up the entire left lane.

At times, only the shoulder was able to squeeze by. It took crews a few hours to fully clean up the mess.

It was not believed that the driver who lost the load stopped at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
