CHALFONT, Pa., (CBS) -- Central Bucks South High School senior Nick McGee is still beaming from his homecoming king win.

"It felt great to get the crowd pumped up," said Nick.

In a YouTube video posted by Nick's sister that now has more than one million views, it's halftime at CB South's homecoming game and the winners are being announced.  Nick hears his name, runs over to the stands and starts leading them in his favorite cheer.

"I believe that we will win," he said.

The crowd goes wild, chanting back. Jumping up and down Nick runs to get his crown, hugs friend and newly crowned queen Lily Bowman. Nick and Lily both have Down syndrome and as king and queen they got to share the moment together before all of their friends and family.

"Nick, I love his dance," said Lily.

"It feels like we're friends forever," said Nick.

Senior Taylor Dunn was Nick's date on the court and standing next to him when his name was called.

"It was probably the best moment of my entire time at CB South. I couldn't contain any emotions. It was amazing," said CB South senior Taylor Dunn.

Lily's brother is on the football team and was getting ready to take the field.

"I could just hear the crowd cheering and I just knew that it was Lily who won and I went out there and I just saw my mom and my grandparents and they were just almost on the verge of tears," said Lily's brother Aaron Bowman.

What's next for these two?

"Going to the game this Friday at Pennridge," said Nick.

Central Bucks South went on to win their game against Abington. Nick and Lily say they are truly grateful to all of their peers for a night they'll never forget.
