Local Students Create Fundraising Puzzle To Raise Money For Autism

By Suzanne Monaghan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Some Temple University students are helping a Bucks County charity "piece" together a fundraiser to raise money for autism.

The students are creating a fundraising puzzle, by selling personalized pieces which will be part of a large customized puzzle that will hang on the wall of the Autism Cares Foundation building in Southampton.

David Feinman is a Temple student and has been working with the charity for two years.

"Similar to creating a row of bricks that donors would donate, we're actually creating a wall of puzzle pieces. So autism symbols a puzzle because it's really puzzle and mystery about what actually causes it and how do so many kids get it."

The cost for a puzzle piece is $15 and they will be available through May 15th.

The goal is to raise $5,000.
