Local Businesses Asked To Take Part In 'Backpack Challenge'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The countdown to a new school year is on.

And local businesses are being asked to take on the "backpack challenge"

The Philadelphia Department of Human Services is asking for backpacks, school supplies or monetary donations.

The city-wide effort will help high school and college age youth prepare for academic success, and with school a few weeks away, officials say there's still time to help.
