Local Business Owner Reflects On How He Got His Start

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In the spirit of Small Business Saturday, the owner of a local t-shirt enterprise is reflecting on where and when he got his start.

In 2002 Michael Nemeroff, now co-founder of RushOrderTees.com was just a student at Lower Moreland High School. Where most kids his age were looking forward to graduating and going off to college, Nemeroff already had business on the brain. It began with making websites.

When he was 13 he helped his older brother, Jordan make a web page for a school assignment and the passion continued from there.

The teen meanwhile was watching his parents struggle with their own business.

Nemeroff, along with Jordan and their sister, Alexis started the online t-shirt business, PrintFly when Nemeroff was still "a few laps shy" of graduating -- today, he still is. But that hasn't stopped him and his siblings from successfully running their business, keeping up with on-demand orders for local races and events and landing a new partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers.
