Little Boy's Dream Fulfilled As Make-A-Wish Sends Him To Flyers Game

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Make-A-Wish foundation has made it possible for a little boy to watch his favorite sports team play in person.
The foundation sent 11-year-old Tony Campisi of Mechanicsburg to a Flyers game this weekend. Campisi has been battling a tumor for the past seven years, but still manages to keep a positive spin on his illness:
"There's always somebody out there that has it worse than me."
Over the years, he's had three rounds of chemotherapy:
"In first grade, I missed a lot of school. I had to go over to the hospital to be hooked up to a bunch of different machines."
Dennis Heron, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, says Campisi has been looking forward to this weekend for months:
"It becomes part of the treatment program, and gives the child strength and some. Something tangible to hang onto while they combat their disease."
The tumor that started in his spine has traveled to his brain, but Tony says it is shrinking and stable.
