List Ranks Several Local High Schools Among Best In Country

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new list of the country's top high schools is out, and several local schools have made the cut.

According to Newsweek magazine, The Charter School of Wilmington is the highest ranked school in the area, at No. 15 overall.

Conestoga High School in Berwyn received the top marks in Pennsylvania, ranking at 51.

Northern New Jersey has four of the top five high schools overall, according to the list.

The highest ranked New Jersey school in the area is Haddonfield Memorial High School at No. 84.

The rankings are based on test results, graduation rates and the number of students who go to college after graduating.
