Limo Driver Robbed At Gunpoint In Grays Ferry

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for the armed suspect who robbed a limousine driver early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at about 4 a.m. along the 2700 block of Titan Street near Wharton Street in the city's Grays Ferry section.

According to investigators, the suspect approached the driver of a luxury limousine cab service and pulled out a handgun.

Investigators say the suspect stole approximately $200 before running away from the scene.

The suspect is described as an African-American male with a beard who was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact police.
