Lightning Strike Causes House Fire In Abington

ABINGTON, Pa. (CBS) – Authorities say a home in Abington Township, Montgomery County was struck by lightning, which then started a fire Saturday evening.

This happened around 6:30 p.m. at the home located on the 1800 block of Harding Avenue.

According to authorities, nobody was home at the time of the lightning strike.

No injuries have been reported. The Red Cross says it is currently helping to people impacted by the fire.
