Light Rain To Linger Into Tuesday, But The Warmth Is Coming!

By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Rain, then wind and warmth!

Light rain, drizzle and patchy fog will linger into the early morning hours, and temperatures will hold in the 50s.

Tuesday morning, a cold front will move through the Delaware Valley, bringing a chance of a shower early.

Behind the front, expect clearing skies and breezy conditions with temperatures mild in the mid-60s.

The forecast for the Phillies home opener will be windy and mild with sunshine and highs in the mid 60s.

There will be a brief shot of cooler air on Wednesday, but highs will still be near the average of 60 degrees with sunshine.

A warming trend then returns late in the week with highs above average in the mid 60s on Thursday and 70 Friday!

The mild temperatures will stick around through the weekend, finally!

Enjoy the sunshine!
