3 Injured In Large Fire At Condo Building In Ocean County

LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Three people were injured in a large fire at a condominium building in Ocean County.

Lakewood police say a call came in around 3:30 p.m. on Friday to report a fire at 123 Sophee Lane in Lakewood Township at the over-55 condo community.

Police say three people were transported from the scene. One was a resident with unknown injuries and two officers who suffered smoke inhalation.

There is no word on their conditions.

Officials say it's too early to pinpoint a cause of the fire.
