Officer Recovering From Minor Burns After Gloucester Township Apartment Fire

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - A police officer is recovering after suffering minor burns in an apartment fire in Camden County.

It happened at the Lake View Apartment complex on the 500 block of Lower Landing Road in Gloucester Township, just before 9 p.m. Sunday.

Police rescued a man trapped on a second floor balcony.

No word yet on what caused that fire.

The Red Cross is assisting 22 people who were displaced.
