Zack Leads La Salle Past Penn, 84-67

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Steve Zack had a season-high 17 points, nine rebounds and a career-best five assists to lead La Salle over Pennsylvania 84-67 on Tuesday night.

Zack finished 6 of 9 from the field and added two steals and two blocks. Jordan Price scored 18 points, Jerrell Wright and Amar Stukes had 13 apiece and Cleon Roberts chipped in 12 for La Salle (8-5), which had its highest point total of the season and has won four of its past five games.

The Explorers held a one-point lead midway through the first before closing on a 17-9 run to build a 47-35 halftime lead. Zack scored eight points during a 16-9 surge to open the second to make it 63-44 with 15:03 remaining.

Darien Nelson-Henry scored 15 points and Tony Hicks had 10 points to lead Pennsylvania (3-7).
