Kevin James Tips Hat To 'Mean Streets Of Philadelphia' In Upcoming 'Kevin Can Wait'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Even though Kevin James is a devout Mets fan, he gives a tip of the cap to Philadelphia in an upcoming episode of Kevin Can Wait.

The new CBS show is the latest foray into television for James, who starred for years on the hit show, King Of Queens.

On the newest episode, airing on Monday, October 17, James' character is posed with the question of what he'll be doing for his wife to celebrate their anniversary. As his wife describes a night of Moroccan food and Broadway that she has planned out, she recalls what her husband planned the previous year.

"He chose last year, which meant we ate cheesesteaks and watched Rocky 2," she said. "Well at least my night had a theme to it right? The mean streets of Philadelphia," James' character explained.
