Kevin Hart Releases Trailer For Movie Showing Lincoln Financial Field Performance

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There was an undeniable amount of energy in the building when Kevin Hart performed at Lincoln Financial Field this past summer in front of a sell-out crowd. A packed football stadium seemed like a bit of a weird venue for an intimate interaction like comedy, but everyone in that stadium knew that they were witnessing history.

On that day, Hart, Philadelphia's own, became the first comedian to sell-out a football stadium for a comedy show. Hart likes to refer to himself as a comedic rockstar and on that night, that title was not in question.

He made history in his city and now the performance will reach beyond those who were in attendance. The world can see what happened that night.

On Tuesday, the first trailer for Kevin Hart: What Now?, was released.

Hart was a guest on SportsRadio 94WIP prior to the history making performance and he discussed how important it was to him to be doing this show in Philadelphia. "At the end of the day, I bleed Philadelphia," Hart said. "I'm only doing one stadium on this tour and that's Philadelphia. I didn't want to do it anywhere else."

The film is set to hit theaters on October 14, 2016.
