Kensington Shooting Leaves Man In Extremely Critical Condition

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is fighting for his life after he was shot late Sunday night in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

This happened just after 11 p.m. outside a bar on the 3000 block Frankford Avenue.

Police say they found the 28-year-old victim in a beer takeout store with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to Temple Hospital where he is in extremely critical condition.

After the shooting, the shooter ran into a vehicle, which an eyewitness was able to describe to police. Police found the car and took two men being treated as suspects into custody.

A gun was recovered as well in a trash can, according to police, as an investigation continues.
