South Jersey Man Pleads Guilty To Fatally Attacking Wife With Hammer, Knife

PEMBERTON, N.J. (CBS) -- A Burlington County man pleaded guilty more than a year after fatally attacking his wife with a hammer and knife. Police say they found Kenneth Arsenault, 60, on top of his wife outside their Browns Mills home last April.

At the time, he was arrested and his 61-year-old wife, Lorraine, was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

Under an agreement with the prosecutor's office, in exchange for a guilty plea, Arsenault will be sentenced to 27 years in prison.
