Sentencing For Woman In GoFundMe Scam Postponed

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Sentencing for Katelyn McClure has been postponed, confirms the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. McClure was scheduled to be sentenced Monday for her role in a GoFundMe scam involving an ex-boyfriend and a homeless veteran.

McClure's sentencing was rescheduled for Sept. 16.

McClure admitted she and her boyfriend, Mark D'Amico, organized the GoFundMe plot to help homeless vet Johnny Bobbitt, who McClure said gave her his last $20 after she ran out of gas.
