Just In Time For Halloween, Philly Ranked The Best City To Be A Vampire (Really!)
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Pale as death with a taste for blood and an aversion to sunlight? Philadelphia's the city for you!
In what's potentially the most ridiculous (and fun!) roundup of the year, the City of Brotherly Love has been ranked the best city for vampires.
RedFin, the real estate site that published the list, says it used data such as the average number of cloudy days per year, the number of homes for sale near cemeteries, and the number of upcoming blood drives to determine which cities were tops for blood-suckers.
On a positive front, "Philadelphia had the most blood drives planned for the next month – 548 – ensuring that vampires would have plenty of places to grab a bite to eat," the company says, before citing Philly's plethora of spooky sites such as Eastern State Penitentiary and the Mutter Museum.
Chicago came in second place and Baltimore ranked third.
