Just In Time For Father's Day, Survey Reveals Many Feel They Take Dad For Granted
BRYN MAWR, PA – Father's Day is coming up, and if you're suffering from some guilt about Dad, you're not alone.
A new survey commissioned by Visiting Angels reveals more than half of adult children sometimes feel they take their dads for granted.
Fifty-two percent of those surveyed admitted they're not always so grateful for their fathers, and 44 percent say they feel dads are "slighted" on Father's Day.
Visiting Angels says fathers sometimes get overlooked because we expect so much from them, including being a caretaker, a bread-winner and a handy man.
Whether or not that's the case, the study also has some good news for Dad. More than three-quarters (76 percent) of those surveyed say they'll visit their father on Father's Day, which is in line with what the company says is the top gift dads reported wanting: quality time with kids and family.
