Report: John Kruk To Join Phillies' TV Crew

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Kruker is back!

According to sources of CSNPhilly's Jim Salisbury, John Kruk will join the Phillies' television broadcast crew during the 2017 season, replacing Matt Stairs.

Stairs was recently hired as the Phillies hitting coach. 

Kruk will join color commentators Mike Schmidt and Ben Davis, sideline reporter Gregg Murphy, and play-by-play broadcaster Tom McCarthy.

Kruk, 55, played six seasons with the Phillies from 1989-1994. The three-time all-star, who won a pennant with the Phillies in 1993, was most recently an analyst for ESPN.
