Jimmy Rollins Says Cole Hamels Would Love To Join Him In L.A.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- As the Phillies continue the rebuilding process, it is pretty clear that drastic changes are going to be made. One of those changes already took place when the Phillies traded their all-time hits leader, Jimmy Rollins, to the L.A. Dodgers.

Another major move that fans are anticipating is the departure of Phillies top pitcher, Cole Hamels.

On Monday, Rollins appeared on the MLB Network and hinted at the fact that Hamels may not mind joining him in his trip out west. Rollins said he spoke with Hamels right before his trade to the Dodgers became official and Hamels addressed that possibility.

"He did talk about how lovely it would be if we both ended up in L.A," Rollins said. "That would be one heck of a move right there."
