Jimmy Rollins Moves Into 2nd Place On Phillies All-Time Hit List

MIAMI, Fla. (CBS) -- Jimmy Rollins' 3rd inning single against the Marlins on Thursday afternoon was his 2,218th career hit, all with the Phillies, moving him into sole possession of second place on the franchise all-time hit list. Rollins passed Richie Ashburn on the list, who had 2,217 hits as a Phillie.

Rollins, 35, is now just 16 hits behind Mike Schmidt's mark of 2,234 hits for the all-time franchise lead.

Rollins has 43 hits in 155 at-bats (.277) so far this season, with six home runs and 20 RBI's.
