James Madison Stomps Drexel 54-35

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Yohanny Dalembert scored 15 points to lead James Madison to a 54-35 victory over cold-shooting Drexel on Thursday night.

Dalembert had three steals and two blocks and finished on 6-of-7 shooting. Ron Curry had 12 points and three assists, and Winston Grays chipped in 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds for James Madison (10-8, 3-2 Colonial Athletic Association).

Drexel (3-13, 1-4) shot just 12 of 50 for 24 percent from the floor, and 4 of 19 for 21 percent from long range.

The Dragons opened on a 9-0 surge with 15:03 to play in the first half, but then went cold, shooting 0 of 19 from the floor, 3 of 6 from the line and trailed 17-12 at the break.

The Dukes opened the second with a Grays' 3-pointer and seven straight points by Dalembert, and the Dukes led by double digits the rest of the way.
