Jahlil Okafor Is Going Back To Duke For His Degree
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Jahlil Okafor would be heading into his junior season at Duke University.
Instead, after a National Championship and All-American freshman season, the 6-11 center became a Philadelphia 76er. However, Okafor will be back on campus this summer earning his degree according to the Duke Basketball Twitter account.
Looking forward to seeing @JahlilOkafor on campus this summer as he will work toward earning his Duke degree. #BestOfBothWorlds ????????

Before tearing his right meniscus, Okafor averaged 17.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in 53 games as a rookie. The 20-year-old mega-talent, who was involved in multiple off-the-court incidents and numerous trade rumors in his first pro year, seems to have his head in the right place.
