Jack-Knifed Tractor-Trailer On I-295 In South Jersey

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (CBS) -- A jack-knifed tractor-trailer created a traffic nightmare on a heavily-traveled road in South Jersey Monday morning.

The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-295 between exits 45 and 47.

Chopped 3 HD was over the scene where it showed a tractor-trailer that jack-knifed in the middle lanes of the highway.

There was a minor fuel spill as a result of the crash that crews had to put sand down to clean-up.

At the height of the traffic slow-down, only the shoulder was able to squeeze by.

At about 8:30 a.m., the tractor-trailer was cleared from the scene and all traffic lanes were reopened.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
