Ira Einhorn Moved To Minimum Security Prison

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's been nearly 40 years since Holly Maddux was found inside the West Philadelphia attic of a her long-time boyfriend, Ira Einhorn.
He fled the country, but was eventually brought back and convicted of the Maddux murder in 2002, and then sentenced to life in prison.
But, he's been moved.
This week, 75-year-old Ira Einhorn was transferred from State Correctional Institution Houtzdale to another that provides care to inmates with health needs.
"We move our inmates throughout our system for a number of reasons."
Susan McNaughton is spokesperson for Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says he was taken to the Laurel Highlands state prison in Somerset County.
"He is there temporarily and will return to SCI Houtzdale at some point in time."
McNaughton says privacy laws prohibit disclosing why an inmate is moved.
"It could be for medical reasons, it could be for program reasons. It could be for court purposes."

"Frankly, as long as he stays in prison, it's fine with me."
