PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - On today's APP-tastic and outta SITE - iOn Road.

Phones can be the cause of a lot of bad things when you're driving, but iOn Road hopes to utilize your phone to help save lives.

Mounted on your windshield and using the phone's camera and internal sensors, it will warn you of potential collisions (showing how far ahead the car in front of you is). It also offers statistics on fuel consumption, lets you know when you've crossed a solid line, and alerts you when the speed limit changes.
