Investigation Underway After Car, Police SUV Collide In South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police SUV and a car have collided in South Philadelphia. The crash happened around 5 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 19th and Wolf Streets.

There's no word yet on injuries.

According to officials, the police vehicle was responding to an armed robbery when the crash happened.

The officer was taken to the hospital where they were expected to be treated and released. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital where they were placed in stable condition.
