12 Students Hospitalized Following School Bus Accident In Gloucester Township

SICKLERVILLE, NJ (CBS) --  Police say 12 children were taken to area hospitals following a school bus accident in Gloucester Township, New Jersey Friday morning.

Authorities say the school bus was taking children to the Ann Mullen Middle School when the collision occurred.

The striking vehicle was being operated by a 25-year-old male and was occupied by a two-year-old and a four-year-old.

They were all taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Police say the school bus was occupied by 30 children and 12 of them were taken to area hospitals for minor injuries.

The driver of the school bus was reportedly slowing and had activated her yellow lights when the crash occurred.

The accident is under investigation.
