In The Dead Of Winter, Yuengling Adds To Its Super-successful Ice Cream Line
POTTSVILLE, Pa. (CBS) – Despite the frigid weather, Yuengling brewery is already thinking about ice cream.
About a year after the company re-launched its ice cream line, four new flavors are joining the ranks.
Original Sea Salt Caramel Swirl, Caramel Popcorn, Orange Cream and Peanut Butter Cup will be added to Yuengling's ice cream roster of 10 flavors and two seasonal ice creams.
The company says Sea Salt Caramel Swirl is the most requested new flavor and is already set to be a fan favorite.
In 2014, Yuengling re-launched the ice cream division of the brewery.
"Sales have been, let's put it this way, way beyond our wildest expectations," David Yuengling, Yuengling's president, told KYW Newsradio last February.
